Billy has started cutting the hay in the 7 acre field. Everything is very late this year due to all the rain. It is quite an involved process: cutting, spreading out, turning, turning again, baling and then storing. If the weather is decent for the next few days, we should get the job done.

The swiss farmers have all started haymaking as well, it seems to involve the wife rather than machinery. tiniest bits of hilly land are being cut and turned and then gathered by the wife. I guess the hubby is in the big field with the machinery, unless he's watching sportsnight.
